Family Matinee and Movie Night at the Queensborough Community Centre
Saturday, September 12th, Matinee: 1:00pm, Evening Screening: 6:30pm
Enjoy a classic movie in the historic surroundings of the Queensborough Community Centre, the village's former one-room schoolhouse.
September's film is Stand By Me (1986). Stand By Me is a classic coming-of-age drama directed by Rob Reiner. Four small-town friends embark on a nostalgic, life-changing trek along the train tracks to find a missing boy, only to discover the true strength of their own bond.
These movie events are a way to bring our community together, joined by friends from other nearby communities, for a fun, affordable day of entertainment, culture, and shared times! Few things are as good for the soul as communal laughter and good cheer!
Matinées start at 1:00pm. Arrive any time after 12:30pm to find a seat and get refreshments. Snacks, water, and juice are available to purchase at old-time prices (cash only). Proceeds support our Playground project!
