Guided Dog Sledding Experience

Try an iconic Canadian Winter activity with guided dog sledding tours on the backcountry trails through the Bancroft area. Egan Creek Outfitters organizes excursions with every detail planned so that you can show up and enjoy the ride. Jake, a competitive racer starts tours with an introduction to get to know the dog sledding team, followed by a demo and lesson to practice before heading out. When everyone departs, they feel comfortable, confident and excited to hit the trails. On the trails you'll see why visitors love Hastings County in the winter - the picturesque snow covered trees, frozen lakes and quiet beauty winter brings.

Tours Include:

• All experience levels welcome
• 1.5 hour guided dog sledding excursion
• Expert instruction
• Demo & lesson on using the sled
• Safety lesson
• Introduction to dogs & time after with them if you would like
   

Additional Notes:

• Groups up to 8-10 people
• Tours are available in Bancroft, Huntsville and surrounding areas, offered 7 days a week
• Prices are: Adults (13+) $250, Children (4-12) $175, + HST on both. Children 3 and under are free.
• Additional locations, event and commercial rides are also available, please inquire for more details
• Be sure to pack warm waterproof clothing, cellphone & waterproof case, and any emergency meds. Pack light; extra gear can be a hindrance during your ride.
